Tiger Wheel & Tyre says funds raised through its Girl Take the Wheel Women's Day 4x4 event were used to provide menstrual-hygiene packs and other items to the Ernest Foundation.

According to the retailer, the event took place at Rust de Winter on 22 August 2026, with the donation handed over on 9 October. TiAuto representatives met the foundation's leadership for the handover.

The initiative links a customer motoring event with support for girls facing barriers to consistent school attendance. The company describes improved access to menstrual-hygiene products as the purpose of the donation.

The announcement did not specify the number of packs, the value of the contribution or measured attendance outcomes. Its education impact should therefore be understood as the initiative's aim, rather than a verified result.
