Prinx XELERA EcoLine earns TÜV SÜD certification

Prinx says its XELERA EcoLine long-haul truck tyre range has achieved TÜV SÜD certification across steer, drive and trailer axle applications.

All three axle versions were tested for rolling resistance, wet grip, noise emissions and robustness. Prinx says the official data are being incorporated into relevant product and marketing material.

Thomas Wohlgemuth, managing director of PRINX Europe, said the certification recognises the development work behind the range and supports the company's focus on fleet and transport customers in Europe.

The Thailand-produced tyre made its world premiere at Tire Cologne 2026. Its XChip technology is intended to provide fleet operators with live information including tyre pressure, temperature, load, mileage and tread depth.

Prinx plans to exhibit the XELERA EcoLine in all three axle versions at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover, marking its first presentation to a broad public audience.
